  Anyone Going to Church Yet?

  i've started attending church, recently.

  it feels great to be able to worship with vigor and feeling.

  still have the occasional trappings of having been a witness and guilt about goung to satan's house.

  Do all of you just Call him God now? has the Personal name of Jehovah just become a thing of the past?

  I am only asking because this is something definite I notice with Christians, it either becomes all about Jesus or just God without a name?

  Yes , when speeking about HIM I use GOD. When praying to HIM I use Heavenly Father, a very precious name for me to use. GOD has waited a long time & paid a great price, so I can enter into the relationship we have.Adoption often takes a great price & time to happen. The relationship is much more important than name.

  ok, maybe endeavor would be a better choice of words, but here goes.. this past year, both my daughters have given me some good smelling perfume - about 8 bottles, in fact.

  it's too hot down here to wear perfume, so i've come up with what i hope is a good solution.. last saturday, i bought a corked container at the goodwill store for about $1.. i'm going to pry the atomizer off the bottles of perfume, pour the perfume into that container, and re-cork it.. when i take a bath, i will add a few drops of the perfume to my water, and i should emerge smelling like a rose!.

  Sylvia, You can also put a few drops on a cloth or hanky and tuck them in your drawers (dresser), makes all your clothes smell nice.

  1 drop of perfume , on a cold light bulb , when turned on will make your bedroom smell nice too.

  I mix equal parts of sea salt & epsom salt in a large zip bag, then add a little perfume & sometimes food coloring.

  1 cup in the bath is wonderful.

  Why did you pick your avator or username?

  well, i picked my username because that's what i saw in front of me and i like the way it sounded.

  no real story behind that.

  i picked my avator because that's the way i felt.

  The site has 2 blocks to fill out, I thought I needed 2 names. So I got out my synonym finder.

  I have an avatar on another site , my son added it for me. Surprises me when I see it.

  I don't know what I'd pick or how to do it myself.

  just trying to see what the majority on here prefer and why.. going to be having some friends over in a few weeks and trying to decide what to go with this time.. i'm more of a seafood type myself.. i'm glad there's not a red lobster restaurant next door to me or i'd go broke from eating there all the time.. .

  Hi,

  We are going to a non dominational church since October. A very warm & welcoming place full of Holy Spirit. There are several exjws and mormons.

  I also go to the Witnesses for Jesus convention in Pa.

  Things that Annoy Me in Grocery Stores - How About You ?

  i do a lot of the grocery shopping for my wife and myself as we live out in the mountains and i stop on the way home from working early morning hours.

  there are some things that just drive me bat-$hit crazy sometimes .

  i'll name a few- you carry it from there !

  I hate shopping. I rarely have a bad experience, I just would rather stay home & clean toilets. I'm want a store with a website I can push my curser down a virtual aisle, click on items & add them to my cart. Check out with my debit card & get delivery the next day.

  i will give you one.

  my friends and i agreed if we need to go to the bathroom, all we have to say "i need to use the phone" it is better than saying i need to go to the bathroom..

  My girls & I always liked the line from Paper Moon, "This little lady got to go winky tink" , then we would bounce of with a girly walk.

  Where is the Love

  hi i'm dearone i have been reading here for quite some time.

  presently am an active witness in good standing with two teenage daughters.

  what originally brought me her was disillusion with the lack of love i experienced in the congregations i have attended.
